Oakmont/Overlook Music Ensembles
Oakmont offers 6 different musical ensembles, several of which are open to 7th & 8th grade Overlook students.
Marching Band
The Marching Band is open to Overlook 7th & 8th grader students and all Oakmont students. You do not have to have prior experience in the music department to join!
Jazz Band
Jazz Band is a select group—an audition is required to join. All Oakmont students are eligible to audition.
Select Choir
Select Choir is a select group—an audition is required to join. All Oakmont students are eligible to audition.
Musical
The acting portion of the Oakmont musical is not part of the music department, but the pit orchestra and some singing/musical elements of the performance are.
Winter Percussion
The Winter Percussion group is open to 7th and 8th grade Overlook students and all Oakmont students.
Winter Guard
The Winter Guard group is open to 7th and 8th grade Overlook students and all Oakmont students.
